Chemical, Biological, Radio logical and Nuclear Security (CBRN) in the university labs and raising the capacity in this field.<\/span><\/h3>\n

It is worth mentioning that the CBRN team, which was composed of specialized experts, including Iraqi university professors who were accredited as experts in the projects submitted by Iraq.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The activities of team are:-<\/span><\/h3>\n

Attend all meetings of the CBRN National Team Safety Coordination Council<\/span><\/h3>\n

Provide many suggestions and recommendations regarding CBRN work<\/span><\/h3>\n

Presenting projects related to universities in the four fields of CBRN with the EU<\/span><\/h3>\n

Submission of a proposal to make the CBRN a part of the syllabus of the curriculum for preliminary and higher studies. The Minister approved the proposal and this was circulated to the universities and the work is under way.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The proposal for follow-up and participation of community colleges in security and safety issues in the four areas of CBRN has been done.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Contribution of team members to CBRN curriculum and literature vocabulary as books, booklets and fellowships in most universities.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Participation of most team members in some CBRN projects and attending conferences inside and outside Iraq.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Several proposals were made by CBRN members to form central committees, units and divisions of CBRN in public universities. This was done in universities (Babylon, Basra, Mustansiriya, Central Technology and Continuing Work in the other universities) for the purpose of establishing a network between teachers and employees in colleges and institutes in the four fields of CBRN<\/span><\/h3>\n

Participating in CBRN meetings (two meetings in Jordan, National Security Consultancy meetings, NCB meetings, attendance at national emergency planning meetings<\/span><\/h3>\n

And review the Ministerial Group for the Strategy on Chemical Safety and the Transport of Hazardous and Dual-Use Materials and to raise proposals for their development<\/span><\/h3>\n

Participate in attendance by participating in the lectures by all members of the team in workshops, training courses, conferences and field practices in cooperation with other institutions ministries, civil defense established by the Iraqi universities and their formations, which reached more than 50 workshops and more than 150 symposiums and lectures in the four fields, Civil defense within universities with specific scenarios<\/span><\/h3>\n

Participation of the Ministry of Higher Education in the implementation of the program of the laboratories of the ministries of health, agriculture , higher education and raise recommendations for its application to the Council of Ministers.<\/span><\/h3>\n
