Abstract<\/span><\/h3>\n

In this work , two new derivatives of amino acid Histidine and metal complexes of them , have been prepared , the first ligand (L1) [(4-nitro benzoyl)-carbamothioyl] Histidine (NCH) was performed by reaction of Histidine acid and (4- nitro benzoyl chloride) with ammoinumthiocyanate in acetone , the second ligand (L2)[(N-chloro benzoyl chloride)- carbamothioyl] Histidine (CCH) . Was prepared by reaction of Histidine acid and (4-chloro benzoyl chloride) with ammoinumthiocyanat in acetone , the Ligands (NCH) and (CCH) were identified by FTIR ,(13C, 1HNMR) ,elemental analysis (C.H.N.S) and electronic spectra , the molecular formula of them were concluded<\/span><\/h3>\n

The ligands L1(NCH) and L2 (CCH) were reacted with some of metal ions (VO+2,Mn+2, Co+2,Ni+2,Zn+2,Cd+2 and Hg+2)\u00a0 complexes were characterized by solubility , melting point and decomposition , FTIR, electronic spectra, molar conductivity magnetic susceptibility measurements , element micro analysis for some\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 complexes and atomic absorption\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

From above results, concluding that complexes of (Mn+2, Co+2,Ni+2,Zn+2,Cd+2 and Hg+2) have an tetrahedral geometry\u00a0 and\u00a0 square\u00a0 planer\u00a0 geometry\u00a0 for complexes\u00a0 of\u00a0 (Cu+2) ,\u00a0 while\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0 square\u00a0 pyramid\u00a0 for\u00a0\u00a0 complexes\u00a0 for\u00a0 (VO+2)\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n
