\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Due to the great importance of activated carbon and the wide of its use in pollution control and in many fields of industry. it has been prepared from various sources and methods for the existence of one type of Activated Carbon which can be used for all purposes<\/span><\/h3>\n

In this study, walnut peel consisting of a high percentage of lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose was prepared by thermal carbonization of the fused<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0base using varying percentages of sodium hydroxide. In the same conditions, the waste of high density polyethylene, melamine formaldehyde resin and polyethylene\u00a0 terephthalate\u00a0 were added in different ratio as additives. The study was confirmed that increasing of the base ratio on the one hand and increasing the percentage of waste on the other hand lead to improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of activated carbon<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0All tests which carried out to determine the specifications of the prepared samples where included the measurement of the iodine number and adsorption of the methyl blue dye in water solution as well as measurements of density, moisture content and ash ratio. As a practical application on the effectiveness of best work samples which was used as an adsorb surface in the adsorption of the pigment in dye and compared the results of the adsorption process with the results of the use of commercial activated carbon as a different surface of the dye mentioned above in this study<\/span><\/h3>\n

some samples were prepared using infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), a differential scanning chronometry (DSC),\u00a0 scanning electron microscopy (SEM ), atomic force microscope (AFM) and (UV-visb) Technique was used to investigate the quantitative adsorption on\u00a0 two surfaces at the following temperatures ( 288,298,308,318,328)K ,with the application of the Isotherm Langmuir equation model and Isotherm Friendship equation model.<\/span><\/h3>\n

All results of the study showed that the applicability of Friendship equation model for adsorption of the pigment mentioned above<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0on the activated and commercial activated carbon surfaces and the non-applicability with isotherm of Langmuir equation model on both surfaces. The isotherm of takes shape (L 3) is taken for the activated carbon surface and (L 4) is taken for commercial activated carbon surface at all above temperatures<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The thermodynamic functions were also calculated to explain the adsorption process. The adsorption results were found that they are corresponding to each of the two absorbed surfaces. The adsorption process was found to be exothermic, so the adsorption process was spontaneous process<\/span><\/h3>\n
