The Abstract<\/span><\/h3>\n

Thiadiazole, Schiff bases very important compounds that have application in the biological and industrial field for reason, Chitosan has been modified with these compounds. Vehicles are prepared in the following ways<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Initially, 2-amino-5-mercapto-4,3,1-thiadiazole [1] was formed according to the literature through reaction of\u00a0 thiosemcarbazide with carbon disulphide in the presence of anhydrous sodium carbonate using absolute ethanol as a medium\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2-amino-5-mercapto-4,3,1-thiadiazole was reacted with salicylaldehyde in the ethanol to give compound [2] .The compound [2] was then reacted with chloroacetic acid in the presence of anhydrous sodium carbonate in\u00a0 distilled water compound [3] \u00a0was isolated the resulting compound was treated with chitosan to given compound [4] as in scheme (1<\/span><\/h3>\n

Schiff bases compounds [5-10] achieved from the reaction of anthranilicacid , 4-amino benzoic acid with benzaldehyde derivatives in absolute ethanolas a medium in scheme 2<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0 Acid Chloride compounds [11-12] were isolated from the raction of Schiff bases [8-10] with thionyl chloride in dry benzene , see scheme (2)<\/span><\/h3>\n

The compounds [5-7] ,[9] and [12-11] were treated with chitosan for modification and compounds [13-18] were obtained as scheme (2).<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0All prepared compounds were identified by their physical properties such as, melting pointthermal analysis (DSC, TGA) and spectral methods such as FT-IR,1HNMR\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n
