in a peer reviewed Journals<\/span><\/h4>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993300\">The department of Biology in college of education for pure science (Ibn Al-Haitham)hosted Asst.prof.Dr.Khalid Waleed Al-Janabi to discuss a workshop entitled (Publishing in a peer reviewed Journals)at the hall of seminars in the department\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993300\">The lecturer pointing to \u00a0Select the right journal for publication is of great importance. Thus it is good for the researcher to have the required knowledge of how to select the journal fits for the scope of his research and publication speed<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993300\">Until the mid-year of 2017 the ranking of the journals in the repository of Thomson Reuter (Now, Clarivate Analytics) is higher than those in the repository of Scopus. Since they have a metric for the evaluation of the included journals which is named as Journal Impact Factor<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993300\">While the Scopus \u00a0is larger and has very scientific journals but lacks a clear criterion for distinguishing the degree of saturation of the various journals in it.
