solids<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The department of physics in college of education for pure science (Ibn Al-Haitham) holds a training course on how to use X-ray diffraction analysis to study the crystalline structure of solids by prof.Dr.Kareem Ali Jasim,lect.Dr.Shatha Hashim Mahdi and Asst.lect.Rihab Nasir Fadhil at the hall of the late pro.Dr.Salim Abdulhameed<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The course identified the electromagnetic spectrum and the mechanisms of electromagnetic radiation interaction with the material and the products of these reactions. The mechanism of X-ray diffraction and its components and the physical principle of its work was presented in addition to displaying images of the spectral analysis of the materials using X-ray analysis. The mechanism of analysis of the results of the spectrum produced by the device was analyzed by analyzing the elements, the most important elements that the device detects ,measured , how to calculate their concentrations and how to determine the crystalline structure of the compound which is under analysis based on this data.
