Dissertation discussion entitled (Study of some inhibitors effect on thermodynamic and kinetic parameters for corrosion some alloys in saline media)by Enas Hussein Ali from department of Chemistry supervised by Taqi Al-Deen Abdulhadi Hamdan\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993366\">Abstract<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993366\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The subject of the present research involved an electrochemical study of aluminum corrosion and two of aluminum base alloys, during the study of polarization behavior of alloy in 0.6 mol.dm-3NaCl solution (which corresponds to the concentration of chloride in sea water) in Hydrochloric acid and potassium hydroxide solutions this was done in different pH (12, 9, 1 and 2) and at different temperatures (298, 303,308 and 313)K. The work was achieved by three electrodes of potentiostat\/ galvanostat .The major items of this research and the main result were obtained and presented as follows:<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993366\">. The studies of the polarization behavior of aluminum and its two alloys were covered by acidic and alkaline media. The alloys that used were: 6061 and 7075 , each of these figures donates to the elements constitutive in the alloys. The research was complete in \u00a0solution at pH =(1 and 2 ) ,and also in \u00a0solution at pH (9 and 12). The (WENKING M lab Potentiostat-Galvanostat) was used for examining of polarization behavior of AL and the two alloys at a scan rate of 2 mV\/s. The main results were obtained in terms of the corrosion potential \u00a0as offered in the following two main sequences<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993366\">InIn<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993366\">.The corrosion current density increases by increasing the acidity and temperature of the corroded medium<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #993366\">.The corrosion protection of AL and its alloys was checked in the alkaline media (pH=12) and acidic (pH=1) at temperature range (298-313)K. using three inhibitors (Tannic acid, Pyrogallol,Gallic acid green inhibitors)\u00a0 separately in the concentration range .
