    Study of the ability and Kinetic of Adsorption in Aqueous Solution of some Organic Compounds on Iraqi Siliceous Rocks Powder<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0Abstract<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0 In this study used Iraqi Rocks Powder, Which is provided locally in Iraq, As a suitable surface in the process of adsorption. The surface was checked by AFM technique.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Adsorption isotherms and the factors which influence the adsorption process, such as salt effect, temperature, were studies. The main results obtained were as follows:-<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Adsorption isotherms of (Congo Red \u201cCR\u201d) and adsorption isotherms of (Methyl Green \u201cMG\u201d)were found to be comparable to Freundlich equation and Temkin equation according to Giles Classification , and (Fuchsin \u201cFU\u201d) dyeadsorption isotherms were found to be comparable to Langmuir equation according to Giles Classification .<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The adsorption process on this surface was studies at different temperatures (293.15, 303.15, 313.15, 323.15 K) the results showed that the adsorption of (CR) on surface decreased with increasing temperature (Exothermic process). While adsorption of (MG, FU) on surface increased with increased temperature (Endothermic process).<\/span><\/h3>\n

    According to the above results of the thermodynamic functions (\u0394G, \u0394S, \u0394H) were calculated.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The salt effect on adsorption of three dyes at (293 K) it was found the (MG) adsorption increased by the presence of salt , the (CR) adsorption decreased with the presence of salt , while (FU) adsorption No change was observed when adding salt .\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The Kinetics of the adsorption of (CR, MG, FU) on surface was studies. The results were treated a according (Lagergren equation). The Kinetics experimental data properly correlated with First \u2013 order kinetic model.<\/span><\/h3>\n
