of 4-formylpyrazole derivatives [XII-XVIII]a,b via cyclisation of substituted acetophenonehydrazones[V-XI]a,b with Vilsmeier-Haack reagent DMF\/POCl3<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The synthesized compounds were characterized (melting points and spectral data).<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">Study of liquid crystal behavior using Differential scanning calorametry(DSC) and polarized optical microscope(POM) of\u00a0 the synthesized\u00a0 compounds showed the The compounds [V-VIII]a\u00a0 displayed nantiotropicnematic phase only while compounds [IX]a , [X]a showed enantiotropic dimorphismSmB and N\u00a0 nematic phases , and [XI]a displayedenantiotropicsmectic C phase and nematic phase.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">. The compounds [V-VIII]b displayed enantiotropicnematic phase only and compound [IX]b display enantiotropic dimorphism smectic A phase besides to nematic phase, but compound\u00a0 [X]b showed\u00a0 smectic B only . Compound [XI]b showed smectic A phase only<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">. The compounds [XII-XV]a showed on liquid\u00a0 crystals behavior or change from\u00a0 solid crystalline state to the isotropic liquid. The compounds [XVI-XVIII] exhibited enantiotropicnematic phases only<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">.
