Simulation Different Estimation Methods for Reliability of System Based on Stress-Strength Models<\/span><\/h3>\n

The purpose of this thesis was included in three pivots. The first one is to derive the formula of the system reliability in stress-strength (S-S) model when the strength X and the stress Y are independently and follows Invers Kumaraswamy Distribution with two shape parameters for three types models; the first model involved a system contain one component has strength X subject to a stress Y, the second model include a system contain one component which has strength X subject to two lower and upper bound stresses and respectively, and the last model contains \u00a0parallel components which have strength (,\u00a0,\u2026, ) subject to common on stress Y. The second pivot concern with estimate the system reliability of the three proposal types of stress-strength models via different estimation methods as; Maximum likelihood method (MLE), Unbiased method (Ub), Moment method (MOM) and using four types of Shrinkage methods (Sh) which is depending on different shrinkage weight factors. Finally, the third pivot consist the comparisons among the proposed estimation methods using Mote Carlo simulation based on mean squared error criteria.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The results analyses showed that the shrinkage estimator using shrinkage weight functions was the best then it is followed by other shrinkage estimators through simulation results which have the smaller MSE compared to other method.<\/span><\/h3>\n
