    Heterocyclic compounds are of most important in biochemical field because of their different applications especially in the pharmaceutical chemistry and it used as antimicrobials, antifungal, antiviral etc., thus, the aim of this work is to synthesis new derivatives of Schiff bases, 1,3,4-oxadiazoles, 1,2,4-triazoles and 1,3-oxazepine derived from 2,2-dimorpholinyl acetic acid and evaluate the biological activity of chosen compounds<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Abstract<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The current work included the synthesis of several new compounds, Schiff bases 1, 3 ,4-oxadiazole, 1,2,4- triazole and 1,3-oxazepein derivatives containing two groups of morpholine. Two strategies of constructing the significant esters [2] and [3] have been reported in this research project. The first strategy includes the synthesis of 2,2-dimorpholinyl acetic acid [1] via the reaction of (2mol.) of morpholine with (1mol.) of dichloroacetic acid. The second strategy involves the reaction of compound [1] with methanol or ethanol in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid. Additionally, the intermediate [2] was synthesized by using dimethyl sulphate as second method for preparing ester in good ylied. Conversion of [2and3] to acid hyrazide[4] was straight forward via the reaction with hydrazine hydrate. Several synthetic routes for derivatives [5-23] have been reported\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Synthesis of Schiff bases derivatives [5-10] by the reaction of acid hydrazide [4] with different aromatic aldehydes in the presence of glacial acetic acid as a catalyst<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Synthesis of 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives [11-17]via the reaction of compound [4] with various substituted aromatic acids in the presence of phosphorousoxy chloride<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Synthesis of 1,2,4-triazole derivatives [19-21] intrudes several stepes : Compound [19] was synthesized\u00a0 by two steps :first by the reaction of ester derivative [2] or [3] with thiosemicarbazde to afford compound [18] . In the second step compound [18] was treated with sodium hydroxide , then the result was acidified to obtain triazole compound [19]. In the third step compound [19] was treated with iodomethane or iodoethane in the presence of dioxane as a solvent to give [20] and [21] respectively<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Synthesis of 1,3-oxazepeinderivatives [22] and [23] from the reaction of Schiff base compound [5] with maleic or phthalic anhydride in dry benzene<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0 All the synthesized compounds were characterized by melting point, FTIR\u00a0 and some of them by 1HNMR and mass spectroscopy .All reaction steps are summarized in the Scheme1\u00a0 and\u00a0 Scheme2. The last step included the assessment of antibacterial screening (invitor) for some of prepared compounds [5,6,7,8,9,10,] against gram positive bacteria (staph. a ureus) and gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli). The biological results showed that some of the tested compounds have a biological activity against these two types of bacteria<\/span><\/h3>\n
