left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">Propose the new type of Weighted Rayleigh Distribution which is depending on Azzalini idea and the Gupta and Kundu procedure.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">Deriving some statistical properties and main characteristics for this new weighted Rayleigh distribution.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">Deriving and estimating the two parameters (shape, scale) for the new weighted Rayleigh distribution by utilizing the three methods. First method is Maximum likelihood estimator method (MLE), the second method moment estimator method (MOM) and the third method is Ordinary least square estimator method (OLS) depending on complete sample or data.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">Estimating the values of death density function f(t), cumulative distribution function F(t), survival function S(t) and the hazard rate function h(t).<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">After that, applying all three estimator methods to real data which is got it from Ministry of Health \\ Medical City Hospital for the brain Cancer, then compares the estimated survival function with empirical survival function by using the mean square error techniques<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">ABSTRACT<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">This thesis concern with the New Weighted Rayleigh Distribution (NWRD) which we adopted in finding it on the idea of \u200b\u200bAzzalini(1985) and the mathematical formula for Gupta and Kundu (2009). The most basic mathematical and statistical properties of this distribution are determined; such as the moments, the moment generating function, factorial moment generating function, the characteristic function and quintile function and we have mentioned all this in chapter one.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">In addition, we used classical estimation methods namely;Maximum likelihood estimator, Moment estimator and Ordinary least square estimator to find the estimation values \u200b\u200bfor the parameters of this distribution all this put it in chapter two.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">Furthermore that, we used the estimated values \u200b\u200bfor this distribution in using a sample of the complete real data for brain cancer patient which obtained from (Ministry of Health Iraqi \/ Medical City)to estimate the survival function and related probability functions of the weighted Rayleigh distribution depends on the diagnosis records of the disease and the duration of survival.
