Spectrophotometric Determination of Some Pestisite in Pure and Environmental Application<\/span><\/h3>\n

This study included two spectrophotometric methods for estimating both deltamethrin and cypermethrin. The first involves indirect estimation of both pesticides by reduction2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride in alkaline hydrolysis. The second method included an estimate of both pesticides indirectly based on the oxidative reactions in acidic medium using tartrazine dye.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Method first: This method involved indirect estimation of both pesticides, after alkaline hydrolysis of both, to release the cyanide ion, which reacts with paranitrobenzaldehyde to yeild cyanohydrin, which in turn works to reduce tetrazolium and convert to the red color formazone compound that has the greatest absorption at wavelength (482,489) nm For deltamethrin and cypermethrin respectively, Bear’s law was applied over concentrations ranging from (0.2-3.4, 0.1-3) .\u00b5g.mL-1 and the molar absorptivity coefficient was equal to (2.6563 x104, 4.5210×104) L. mol-1.cm-1 and the detection limit of (0.044, 0.057) \u00b5g.mL-1, the Sandall sensitivity of the was (0.009,0.019) ) \u00b5g.cm-2 The average recovery rate was 97.20% and 100.80 for the determination of pesticides in their commercial preparations, while the recovery percent for environmental samples(water, soil) \u00a0was 97.50% and 96.40% for both, respectively, \u00a0the standard deviation range was respectively. (1.3.2.5) and (0.8-4.5) for pesticides in their commercial preparations. The molar ratios of both pesticides and the reagent TTC were studied in two ways: continuous variation and molar ratios where both methods proved to be 1: 1 for both insecticides. The method was successfully applied to the determination of pesticides in their preparations and the results of the method found that it corresponds to the original content of the pesticide preparations.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The second method is based on oxidation reactions. The method was based on the reaction of deltamethrin and cypermethrin with a calculated increase of NBS in the acid medium and determination of the excess of the oxidizing reagent by measuring the residual absorption of \u00a0tartrazine .<\/span><\/h3>\n

Bear’s law was applied over concentrations ranging from (0.5-5.5, 0.5-4.5) .\u00b5g.mL-1 with a detection limit (0.078,0.019) \u00b5g.mL-1 and molar absorptive was (5.819\u00d7104, 7.027×104) L.mol.cm-1,Sandall sensitivity was (0.007) \u00b5g.cm-2 for deltamethrin and cypermethrin. The average recovery rate was 96.30% and 99.30% for the determination of pesticides in their commercial preparations. While the recovery percent for environmental samples was 97.30% and 97.00% for both respectively. The relative standard deviation range was (1.87-4.16) and (1.0-4.9) for pesticides. In their commercial preparations, the precision value to application the suggest method for determination the pesticides in environmental samples (water, soil) represented by RSD between (2.08-4.82) and (0.6-1.4) for deltamethrin and cypermethrin respectively<\/span><\/h3>\n
