        The corrosion rate of low carbon steel was founded by loss weight method\u00a0 at different temperatures (303, 323,313, 333) K in a saline corrosive medium of sodium chloride (0.6) M in a presence and absence of the plant extracts which used as inhibitors; Achillea, Artemisia and Anabasis extract at concentrations (2, 4, 6, 8, 10) mL\/L. The corrosion rate was increased with an increase in the temperature. So, the results showed that the maximum value of inhibition efficiency was for Achilleaextract (93.75%) and (87.5%) for Artemisia then (75%) for Anabasis extract. Langmuir and Friendlich isotherms were applied to investigate the mechanism of corrosion. The kinetic study showed that the values of activation energies (Ea) were less than (40) kJ \/ mol that indicates the adsorption process is spontaneous because of the negative values of\u00a0 free energy.The value of activation enthalpies and entropies were estimated from experimental corrosion rates, it was noticed that they increase with increasing the inhibitor concentration at deferent temperature.\u00a0 On the other hand, the scanning electron microscope was accrued to study the morphological properties of the surface of low carbon steel alloy before and after corrosion in the saline medium, with a presence and absence of the three inhibitors.\u00a0 In comparison between SEM images before and after inhibition that the alloy appears to be covered with a protective layer of the adsorbed inhibitor. Infrared technique (FT-IR) was used to determine the presence of effective groups in the studied plant extracts Achillea, Artemisia and Anabasis before and after the immersion of low carbon steel alloys, and through the comparison between the two spectrums of each extract, it was observed that an attraction between the active groups in the extract and the alloy surface, which led to the formation of a protective layer on the surface of carbon steel alloys.X-ray energy dispersion spectroscopy (EDS) was performed to determine the weight percentages of the elements which present in the low carbon steel alloy in a presence and absence of plant extracts (Achillea, Artemisia and Anabasis) that used as inhibitors in NaCl (0.6) M. There is an increase in the percentage of oxygen was observed as a result of the oxidation of the surface of carbon steel alloy.
