    The study aimed to purifyacid phosphatase (ACP) from sera of type 2diabeticIraqi patients (obese and non-obese)and its correlation with some biochemical parameters, in this study were included ninety two samples were included in this studywere collected during the period 2nd of Nov 2019 until\u00a0 end of march 2020 at Endocrine and Diabetes Center \/ Baghdad and National Diabetic Center \/AL-MustansiriyaUniversity, forty six T2DM Iraqipatients, twenty three patients from them were obese andtwenty three were non-obese compared with same groups from control.All information was taken for patients and control groups inclusive weight, length, BMI for obese (T2DM and control (25-30)) and non-obese (T2DM and control (\u226424)), age (32-60), familial history of chronic disease<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This study included purified of ACP from sera of (obese and non-obese type 2 diabetic) , purification process was done with several steps included precipitation with (NH4)2SO4 (30%-80%), dialysis, ion exchange chromatography by Di Ethyl Amino Ethanol(DEAE)sepharose anion columnwhich detected twoisoenzymes for obese type 2 diabetic and one for non-obese type 2 diabetic, highest ACP active fractions\u00a0 were collected\u00a0 from high\u00a0 active ACP isoenzyme\u00a0 that purified from obese type 2 diabetic sera was applied to sepharose 6B column and only one peak of ACPactivity was obtained. The purified enzyme had an optimum temperature (50 C\u02da) and optimumpH (5). Purity and molar mass was measured using (SDS.PAGE) electrophoresis showing approximately ~ 56 KD with single band<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Also, the study included measurement of some biochemical parameters.There were a\u00a0 high significant increase in FSG, HBA1C , insulin,TC,TG ,LDL-c ,VLDL-c and acid phosphatase fornon-obese type 2 diabetic group as compared to control, while showed a significant increase in TG,LDL-C,VLDL-Cand there were no significant decrease in HDL-C, urea\u00a0 and creatinininnon-obesetype 2 diabetic group as compared to the control<\/span><\/h3>\n
