patients that treated with sitagliptin and compare results with newly diagnostic diabetic patients\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The study comprises 3 groups : the first group G1 (n= 30)\u00a0 as\u00a0 a control group and\u00a0 group G2 that consist (n= 30) patients\u00a0 that newly diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes mellitus who visited the Endocrinology and Diabetes Center of the Iraqi Ministry of Health in Baghdad . Group3 G3 (n= 30) patients that taked with Januvia tablet (100mg) was taken daily. All subjects with age range ( 35-50 years) . Blood sample collected from December 2019 to February\u00a0 2020. Blood sampling was divided into two specimen, one of them( 2 ml ) that used in determination\u00a0 hemoglobinA1C. Another part (3ml) of the bloods were placed in plane tube , obtained serum used in assessing\u00a0 methionine synthase\u00a0\u00a0 , cystathionine \u03b2- synthase , Insulin ,Total Cholesterol\u00a0 ,Triglyceride ,High Density Lipoprotein .<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The result data of Body mass index was shown\u00a0 a significant in G2 comparing to\u00a0 G1 . It is also a significant increase was observed in G3 comparing to G1 and G3 vs G2 . Results of FBG and HemoglobinA1c show a significant increase when compared G3 and G2 versus G1 for hemoglobin A1c and FBG , also that happened when comparing G3 vs G2\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The results of\u00a0 Total Cholesterol\u00a0 levels\u00a0 was appeared\u00a0 a significant increase\u00a0 in G2 comparing to\u00a0 G1 . Also a significant increase was observed in G3 comparing to G1 and noticed no significant increase . Such as\u00a0 noticed levels of Triglyceride\u00a0 a significant increase in G2 and G3\u00a0 comparing to\u00a0 G1 , also showed a significant increase when comparing G3 vs G2 .\u00a0\u00a0 So that when comparing all groups in estimate High Density Lipoprotein , the relationship appears to be non \u2013 significant deference , as well as results shown a non-significant when compare between G1 Vs G2\u00a0 G3,\u00a0 respectively\u00a0 .\u00a0 Result of Low density lipoprotein\u00a0 levels was appeared a significant increase in G2 and G3 , when compared with G1\u00a0 and when comparing G3 vs G2 showed no significant deference\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">Data for\u00a0\u00a0 Very Low Density Lipoprotein\u00a0 levels revealed to be a significant increase of\u00a0 VLDL in\u00a0 levels in G2 and G3 compared to G1 , also showed significant increase\u00a0 when comparing G3 vs G2\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The result of Insulin levels\u00a0 illustrated a significant increase of\u00a0 insulin level in G2 and G3 when compared with G1\u00a0 and shown no significant deference\u00a0 in G3 compared to G2<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">In addition ,\u00a0 results of Homeostasis Model Assessment of -Insulin Resistance\u00a0 levels was showed no significant deference\u00a0 in G2 , G3 compared to G1 , also when comparing G3 vs G2 showed no significant deference\u00a0 .
