effect of higher configurations outside the model space which\u00a0 is called the core-polarization (CP) effects on the calculations of the form factors of electron scattering for some chosen p-, sd- and fp-shells nuclei. The CP effects were taken into the consideration by using a microscopic theory that connects the model space wave function with higher energy wave functions. The CP effects were calculated with the MSDI as a residual interaction. The parameters of the MSDI are denoted by AT , B and C , where T indicates the isospin (0,1). These parameters are taken to be A0 = A1 = B = 25\/A and C = 0, where A is the mass number. For p-shell nuclei Choen-Kurath (CK) were employed to perform the shell model calculations, USDA effective residual interaction will be used for the sd-shell nuclei and GXPF1A effective interaction for the fp-shell nuclei. All the calculated form factors will be compared with the available experimental data and intensively discussed<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>Abstract:<\/strong> In this study, the form factors for inelastic electron scattering for some selected <em>p<\/em>&#8211; (<sup>6<\/sup>Li, <sup>7<\/sup>Li and <sup>10<\/sup>B), <em>sd<\/em>&#8211; (<sup>17<\/sup>O, <sup>19<\/sup>F and <sup>29<\/sup>Si) and <em>fp<\/em>-(<sup>42<\/sup>Ca, <sup>44<\/sup>Ca and <sup>48<\/sup>Ca) shells have been investigated. \u00a0They study performed by two approaches: The first one is by using a theory of\u00a0\u00a0 the microscopic to include the effect of core polarization by taking the contribution of the nuclear configurations with high excitation energy outside the p, sd and fp shell model spaces. These high energy configurations are named the Core Polarization Effects, that take into account excitation by particle-hole orbits into higher orbits with the excitation \u00a0energy of the core and model spaces orbits\u00a0 . The core polarization calculations have been performed using the code CP1 which is written in Fortran90 language and Calculating both longitudinal and transverse form factors. The second one is by using Bohr-Mottelson collective model with the harmonic oscillator (HO) as residual effective interaction. The effective charges for the proton and neutron are used to account for the core polarization effects. \u00a0The Modified Surface Delta Interaction (MSDI) is adopted to calculate the matrix elements for the core polarization. Effective interactions are adopted with different model spaces to generate the model space wave functions which are, Cohen-Kurath (CK), USDA and GXFP1A, for <em>p<\/em>-, <em>sd<\/em>-s and <em>fp<\/em>-shells, respectively using the shell model code <strong>Oxbash@MSU<\/strong>. The simple Harmonic Oscillator (HO) potential is used to generate the single particle wave functions, where an analytical solution is possible. The calculations of model space (MS) belittle the experimental form factors and It is found very important to include core polarization effects in microscopy and through the use of effective Bohr-Mottelson proton and neutron charges for improvement of calculations.\u00a0 For inelastic electron scattering for the studied nuclei, the calculated form factors are compared to measured data. The effect of the polarization of the core considered by means of the effective proton and neutron charges is found very essential to be considered that enhanced the agreement with the measured data very well, especially for the Coulomb form factors.
