Preparation, Diagnostics, and Spectroscopic, Thermal and Biological Study of the New Compound (KL) Derived from 2-Aminobenzothazole and its Use as a (a-brass) alloy Corrosion Inhibitor in Drinking Water Pipes with Some Metals Complexes<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Abstract<\/span><\/h3>\n

The research aims to prepare a series of complexes of bivalent transitional elements (manganese, cobalt, nickel, zinc and cadmium) with the new compound (KL) and is derived from the reaction of carbon disulfide and the intermediate compound (HD). Complexes of general formula [M(L) 2 ] were diagnosed with the proton and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum (only new compound (KL)) and infrared measurements, electronic spectrum, melting points, molar conductivity, and element analysis C.H.N.S, percentage of metal in complexes, magnetic sensitivity, thermal study of compound (KL) and some complexes. Based on the results given to the aforementioned studies, a tetrahedral structure of the prepared complexes was suggested by the association of sulfur atoms with the thiol group in the compound (KL) with the metal ions. The biological activity of the compound (KL) and its complexes against two types of negative bacteria (Escherichia coli) and positive (Staphylococcus aurous) were also studied using di<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n
