style=\"color: #993366\">Abstract<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">165 clinical samples, including 137 Urine samples from patients suffering from urinary tract infections, and 28 samples of Wound swabs from patients with different wounds, were screened to obtain pathological isolates of the genus E. coli.Samples were collected from different hospitals in the city of Baghdad (Alimameen Al-Kadhmin Medical City, Educational laboratories, Child Protection Education Hospital at Medical City Hospital, Al-Karkh General Hospital and Child Central Hospital) from 1\/8\/2019 to 10\/15\/2019<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The purified bacterial colonies were seeded with MacConkey agar, Eosin Methelen Blue (EMB), blood agar,Then he was diagnosed using biochemical tests and then he made the final diagnosis using the Vitek-2 Compact System. Diagnostic results showed that 50 isolates were due to E. coli bacteria, and it included (92%) 46 isolates from urine and (8%) 4 from wound swabs<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The sensitivity of the bacterial isolates was examined by the method of spreading tablets using 10 antibiotics. The results showed that the bacterial isolates were 43 isolates, including resistance to Trimethoprim and Piperacillin, at a rate of (86%),Of the 32 isolates resistant to anti-ceftazidime and ciprofloxacin (64%), 20 isolates were resistant to anti-cefoxitin (40%), 18 isolates were resistant to anti-Amikacin (36%), and 12 isolates were resistant to two anti-gentamicin and nitrofurantoin (24%).10 isolates were resistant to Chloramphenicol, at a rate (20%), and 2 isolates were resistant to anti-Imipenem, at a rate of (4%)<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The ability of E. coli isolates to form biofilm was revealed by using the Microtiter Plate Method (MTP).The results showed that (78%) 39 isolates have the ability to form a biofilm, and to varying degrees, 4 (8%) isolates showed the ability to form a strong biofilm.And (10%) 5 isolates have the ability to form the medium for the bio membrane and (60%) 30 isolates have the ability to weakly form the bio membrane, while 11 isolates showed (22%) are unable to form the bio membrane<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The effect of graduated concentrations of acetic acid (0.039 &#8211; 5)% compared to the effect of anti-ceftazidime with concentrations (4-512) g \/ ml as well as the mixture effect of both on five E. coli bacterial isolates were studied, Selected according to their ability (antibiotic resistance and biofilm formation) are (E9, E10, E18, E25, E41). The results of the experiments showed that acetic acid had an effect at low concentrations, while the results of the study showed that the anti-ceftazidime effect has an inhibitory effect at high and low concentrations, while the results of the mixture effect showed an inhibitory role and in different degrees<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">Molecular detection of the availability of a gene responsible for the formation of the csgD biofilm (curli subunit gene D) was carried out in 20 isolates of E. coli selected according to their ability to produce the biofilm and their resistance to antibiotics. The results were that 95% of the bacterial isolates carry the csgD gene with a molecular weight 651 base pairs<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #993366\">The results of the sequential analysis of the amplified DNA segments were shown in 19 E. coliisolates belonging to the csgD gene by sending the amplification results with PCR technology in the forward and backward directions.
