    Abstract<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The objective of this thesis is studying the dynamical behavior of different types of epidemiological systems. Three types of epidemiological models are proposed and analyzed mathematically. The first suggested model deals with an HIV\/AIDS epidemic model involving two stages for outbreak called within host and between hosts. The effect of carrier is included. The control of disease using several strategies and government\u2019s measures is discussed\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0 The second suggested model represents an epidemiological model that describes the smoking disease in two cases with and without spatial diffusion. The role of media coverage in reducing the outbreak is studied. Finally, the third suggested epidemic model deals with a cancer disease in a polluted environment with and without time delay in environment clearance<\/span><\/h3>\n

    All the above described models are formulated mathematically using the set of nonlinear differential equations (ordinary or partial), and then the dynamical behavior of them is investigated<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The existence, uniqueness and bounded-ness of the solution of these suggested models are discussed. All possible equilibrium points are studied. The local as well as global stability of all possible equilibrium points are investigated. The occurrence of Hopf bifurcation near endemic equilibrium point of the cancer model is discussed. The stability and direction of the Hopf bifurcation are determined utilizing the normal form method and the center manifold reduction<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0 Finally, Numerical simulation is used to study the global dynamics of all the above suggested models. These models are solved numerically with the help of\u00a0 \u00a0program Language of version (4.5) and MATLAB Program version (8)<\/span><\/h3>\n
