“Theoretical Study on The Effect of Temperature on The Energy” Gap And Optical Properties of CdSe Quantum Dots”<\/span><\/h4>\n

A simple theoretical model was presented to study the absorption coefficient, optical properties and optical constants of CdSe quantum dots from the size of 10 nm to 1 nm with the visible area range between (300-730) nm with two effects of temperature and size. It turns out that there is an absorption threshold for each wavelength that increases with increasing wavelength, and there are also changes in (absorption threshold) with the temperature and the size of the quantum point.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study aims to demonstrate the effect of temperature and the effect of quantum confinement with point size, on the other hand, on the quantum dots (CdSe). Therefore, the optical properties were studied under the influence of these two variables, in addition to the role played by the absorption coefficient in some of these properties and optical parameters.<\/span><\/h4>\n

<\/h4>\n

The results obtained indicate that the range of the absorption coefficient can cover the UV, visible and IR region when the quantum sizes are relatively large (size = 9 nm and 10 nm), while the small ones cover small ranges of them, where only the region is above Violet (size = 1.4 nm) or part of the visible region (when the size is greater than 1.4 nm). What resulted from this difference in the results of the absorption coefficient, which had a significant effect on the optical properties<\/span><\/h4>\n
