    Abstract<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The present research aims to achieve the following<\/span><\/h3>\n

    – Construction of a training program according to Swartz model of biology teachers for the second intermediate class.2-Knowing the impact of the training program in the dimension of mindfulness of biology teachers in the second intermediate class and the higher- order thinking of their students<\/span><\/h3>\n

    In order to achieve the second research objective, the following zero hypotheses were formulated<\/span><\/h3>\n

    -There is no significant statistical difference at the level of ( 0.05)between the average score of biology teachers of the experimental group who were under the training program according to Swartz model and the average grades of biology teachers of the controlled group who didn\u2019t undergo the training program according to the dimension of the mindfulness\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

    -There is no significant statistical difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average score of students in the experimental group whose teachers were subjected to the training program according Swartz model and the average score of students in the controlled group who didn\u2019t subject their teachers to the training program in the test of higher \u2013 order thinking.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The researcher adopted the experimental design of two groups, one experimental and the other a partial control and the post-test of the dimension of mindfulness of the biology teachers and the higher order thinking of their students.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The research limited within its limits to biology teachers for the second intermediate class belonging to the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad, Rusafa 1, as the research community for biology teachers reached (75) teachers (males and females), the researcher randomly selected (18) teachers (males and females) for the experimental group. (18) teachers of the controlled group did not undergo to the training program, and thus the sample consisted of (36) teachers of biology teachers for the second intermediate clss.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0As for the test of the research is ((3193) male and female students (1799) male students and (1394) female students, the research sample was randomly selected (10) students for each teacher of the research sample, as the number of students in the experimental group reached (180) male and female students and the controlled group (180) male and female students. The total number of the student sample is (360) male and female students distributed among (36) primary, middle and high schools from Adhamiya district schools who are taught by biology teachers of the sample.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The research groups of the biology teachers were justified with the variables (scientific qualification, years of service, the courses they were subjected to and the dimensions of mindfulness). The students were justified with the variables (age, smartness and intelligence)<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The training program was constructed according to the input of three stages system (planning, designing and evaluation) and feedback for all stages. It was presented to a group of experts to express their opinions and make appropriate adjustment .The program was designed according to the Swartz model on the experimental group which is included twenty sessions\u00a0 for (80 minutes) each session, and there is a break time for (40 minutes ) between the two sessions. The program applied on the (ZOOM application) according to the Ministry of Education in the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad, Rusafa 1, in the building of Preparation and Training numbered (725) at 28\/10\/2020 during the period 2\/11\/2020 to 15\/11\/ 2020, in the morning.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The researcher has prepared the research two tools, the first is the dimension of mindfulness to measure the mindfulness of the biology teachers of the intermediate second class. It includes four dimensions (Attentive discrimination, Openness to the new, Orientation towards the present, awareness of multiple points of view). So, it is presented to a group of experts to output the honesty and consistency and thus became the range of mindfulness as a final consists of (42) sections divided into four areas. The second tool is the test of higher order thinking for students of the second intermediate class of (40) sections divided between the three areas (critical thinking skill, problem solving skill and thinking skill beyond knowledge). Verification of the validity of the test by presenting it to the experts and calculating the validity and the stability factor for each of the three test areas.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In order to extract the result of the study, the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS-18) and using Microsoft Excel. The statistical methods used ( t-test) and (KAI-square) were used for the two independent samples to find out the equivalent between the two the controlled and the experimental groups of the teachers and the students, person correlation coefficient kurder-Richardson20, Kuder-Richardson, Coefficient Cronbach Alpha \u00a0and the coefficient, the coefficient of difficulty coefficient and the impact of discrimination.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The dimension of the mindfulness was applied to the biology teachers of both the experimental group and the controlled group as well as the test of the higher \u2013order thinking for their students in the first semester of the academic year (2020-2021). After the statistical processing of data, the result showed the superiority of the biology teachers in the experimental group who were subjected to the training program on the biology teachers in the controlled group who didn\u2019t undergo the training program in the dimension of their mindfulness. And the students of the experimental group students surpassed the students of the controlled group.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 According to the study the conclusions were: \u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The effectiveness of the training program for the biology teachers prepared according to Swartz model and that played a large role in meeting their training needs.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Include the training program on various teaching strategies for Swartz model and training of biology teachers on a number of teaching plans and implementation in accordance with these strategies contributed to raising the competence of the dimension of mindfulness do they have.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The researcher also reached a number of recommendations as<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Accreditation of the training program based on the Swartz model in the training programs of the employed biology teachers.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Revising by the Ministry of Education in the training of the employed teachers in line with their training needs and scientific and technological development.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The researcher suggests a number of studies to complete this study, including:<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The effect of the training program according to the (Swartz) model for chemistry and<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0physics teachers on their teaching skills.<\/span><\/h3>\n
