    \u00a0A list of environmental problems has been prepared, consisting of (8) main problems, which are (air and atmosphere pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, energy, disturbance of biodiversity and environmental balance, waste management, food and drug pollution, investment of mineral wealth), from which (60) \u00a0sub- problem has been\u00a0 appeared\u00a0 after deletion and addition<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Then the researcher analyzed the chemistry books for the intermediate stage for the academic year (2020-2021) in light of the list that had been prepared and approved the idea as a unit of analysis with its two types (explicit and implicit) and repetition as a unit for enumeration, and the stability of the analysis was calculated in agreement with outside analysts and with the researcher himself, and the researcher used the Holste equation To calculate the values of the stability coefficients, the results:\u00a0 showed, using frequencies and percentages, the following<\/span><\/h3>\n

    -The science book (two chemistry units) for the first intermediate stage \u00a0was the most concerned with environmental problems by (3 7. 66%), (4) iterations, while the science book (two chemistry units) for the second intermediate\u00a0 stage was the least \u00a0concerned, it achieved (29.82%) by (34) Repeatedly<\/span><\/h3>\n

    2-The field of air and atmosphere pollution placed \u00a0first with a rate of (23.68%) by (27) iterations in the chemistry textbooks for the intermediate stage, while the field of soil pollution came in the last place and did not get any repetition<\/span><\/h3>\n

    -The sub-problem (the role of chemical elements in nature) had got the largest number of repetitions with a rate of (23) iterations and it \u00a0placed first, while many of the sub problems of a subset did not get any frequency<\/span><\/h3>\n

    -The chemistry textbooks for the intermediate stage achieved (28) sub-problems at a percentage of (46.66%), and this percentage is not good compared to the \u00a0standard percentage adopted by the researcher based on the opinions of experts and referees, which is (70%)<\/span><\/h3>\n

    In light of the findings of the study, the researcher came up with several recommendations, including<\/span><\/h3>\n

    – environmental problems are \u00a0major and minor<\/span><\/h3>\n

    -pointing the attention of specialists in the reform of science curricula, especially the chemistry curriculum, to the importance of including environmental problems, as it is one of the modern directions of scientific education<\/span><\/h3>\n

    -Involving those interested in environmental education and specialists in the field of environment within the committees for preparing science curricula, especially the chemistry curriculum<\/span><\/h3>\n

    To complement the current research, the researcher suggested conducting studies to analyze the content of chemistry textbooks at other stages of study and analyze the content of books of other scientific materials such as physics and biology in light of the same environmental problem<\/span><\/h3>\n
