    A theoretical study of the effects-type crystal hosts on the lasing output for a quasi-three-level Nd+3 thin-disk laser<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Aim of the present work<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The main objective of this study is to know the effect of the crystal type in the thin disk laser on each of the pumping threshold power, the laser output power, and the efficiency of this laser device.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Where the rate equations were used to derive the equations for each of the pumping threshold power, the laser output power, and the efficiency of the thin disk laser that works according to a quasi-three-level scheme.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0 Also, in this study, the numerical solution to these equations is found through the Matlab program by selecting the crystals (YAG), (YVO4), (GdVO4) as typical examples of the crystals used in this type of laser and grafted with the element ().<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0 In addition, the effect of the main factors in thin disk laser design on each of the pumping threshold power, laser output power, and efficiency was known, namely: quality factor (M2), concentration (N), crystal thickness (d), reflectivity of the laser output mirror (R2),The number of times the pumping beam passes in the resonant cavity ( MP), and the pumping power (Ppum ). And through this simulation, the typical values \u200b\u200bof these factors were found in this study, and then we get the lowest values \u200b\u200bfor the pumping threshold power, the highest values \u200b\u200bfor both laser output power and efficiency in crystals hostess.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \u00a0 In addition, the effect of the type of pumping plan at room temperature on both the laser output power and efficiency was studied.<\/span><\/h3>\n

    ABSTRACT<\/h3>\n

    The present study includes a theoretical treatment to derive the general equation for each of the pumping threshold power (), the laser output power () and the efficiency of the laser device (\u03b7) for the thin disk laser with a quasi-three-level pumping plan\u00a0 Continuously running at room temperature through an analytical solution of the rate equations for this laser system.<\/h3>\n

    Three were selected\u00a0 (), () , () As a typical example of this pumping plan, the wavelength of the pumping waveform in the three crystals is () , The length of the laser emitting wave is () , () ,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 () In the three crystals in a row, in order to find the numerical solution to the above equations using the Matlab program.<\/h3>\n

    In these simulations studied the effects of quality factor (M2), concentration (N), crystal thickness (d), reflectivity of the laser output mirror (R2), the number of times the pumping pulse passed through the time cavity (MP), and the pumping power ( Ppump) in the three crystals on both the laser output power and the efficiency of such a pumping scheme.<\/h3>\n

    Found that both the output power and the efficiency of the laser increased with an increase of (R2), (MP), (Ppump), while they decreased with an increase in (M2), (N), (d).<\/h3>\n

    The optimum values \u200b\u200bof these parameters have been determined, and then we get the highest laser output power and efficiency in the three crystals, as found that (GdVO4) crystal is the best among these crystals.<\/h3>\n

    In addition to that, found from this simulation, that the operating system is quasi – three – levels better than the operating system four-level to obtaining higher laser output power, and in this case also the crystal (GdVO4) is the best in obtaining the highest efficiency and laser output power<\/h3>\n
