دورة مشتركة حول النشاط الأشعاعي خطورته وكيفية الوقاية منه

نظم قسمي الكيمياء و الفيزياء في كلية التربية للعلوم الصرفة ابن الهيثم دورة تدريبية مشترة حول (النشاط الأشعاعي خطورته وكيفية الوقاية منه) حاضرت فيها التدريسيات (م .هناء غالي عطية ، م.م.جميلة كاظم طاهر ، ا.م.أنعام وادي وطن) على قاعة المرحوم أ.د. فهد علي حسين.

وتiدف اقامة هذه الدورة الى التثقيف بالنشاط الاشعاعي للمواد النشطة اشعاعيا و كيفية التعامل مع هذه المواد .

وبينت المحاضرات ان تعرض الإنسان والكائن الحي والبيئة إلى الإشعاع يؤدي إلى مخاطر عديدة لايمكن تجاهلها ، ناجمة عن مصدرين للإشعاع

.

حيث اشارت المحاضرات الى ان تأثيرات الإشعاع  يمكن تقسيمها إلى نوعين :

1. تأثيرات حادة : يؤثر التعرض الحاد للجرعة في جميع أعضاء وأجهزة الجسم .

2. تأثيرات متأخرة: تحدث نتيجة التعرض إلى جرعة واطئة بصورة مستمرة. تترك التأثيرات نتائج متماثلة ، متمثلة بظهور أعراض مرضية مثل أمراض الدم ، أمراض الجهاز الهضمي ، أمراض الجهاز العصبي ، سرطان الرئة ، سرطان العظام ، قصر العمر ، أو استحداث طفرات غير مفيدة للإنسان

A joint course on the risk of radioactive and how to prevent it

Chemistry and physics departments was organized a course on the risk of radioactive and how to prevent it by the lecturer Hana’a Ghali Attia ,Asst.lect.Jamila Kadhum Tahir and Asst.prof.Ana’am Wadi Watan at the hall of the late prof.Dr.Fahad Ali Hussein

The purpose of the course is educating the radiation activity of radioactive materials and how to deal with these materials

The lectures showed that human exposure, the organism and the environment to radiation lead to many risks cannot be ignored, caused by two sources of radiation One is natural, resulting from the decomposition of unstable nuclei into stable nuclei. The other is an industrial source, produced by the bombardment of nuclei of stable isotopes by different types of nuclear particles. The human exposure to radioactivity depends on the form of the radioactive material, the type and energy of the radioactive source, Radioactivity of the source and the half life of the radioactive material
